Security and insurances required. The maximum percentage of the value of the property which will normally be advanced is 75% and is subject to credit references. A typical variable rate mortgage of €100,000 over 20 years costs €699.23 per month (APR 5.92%). The effect of a 1% increase in interest rates for such a mortgage will increase the monthly repayment to €757.39 (APR 6.99%), an increase of €58.16 per month.
